I am completing my Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and have been working with children of varying abilities for 2+ years. I am very passionate about working with children of all ages, all types of abilities, challenges, and their families . I am currently working in an elementary school that and have a caseload consisting for children in the general education setting as well as children (K-5) in the ASD program. I find it very rewarding and extremely special to work with children and to help them realize how loved, cared for, and capable they are! I think it is very important to take time to learn about the strengths and challenges, preferences, and dislikes of each child I work with- I strongly believe that this is a detrimental factor when building a relationship with a child and his/her family members.
