About Syed

Hi my name is syed zahid . I go by my middle name Zahid (Z). I have major in sociology and minor in philosophy from the University of Washington, and recently graduated with second bachelor's in Nursing. However, I have a long history in sales and customer service prior to my return to academia. My road to higher education was long and winding, but it equipped me with a variety of skills that would help me thrive in challenging and high paced work environments. My journey began in southern India where I originally studied business and worked in sales and customer service for large companies . After moving to the U. S. in 2012 and facing many life challenges I became interested in studying the social and philosophical sciences and restarted my academic path in search of deeper meaning. As a future Coach, teacher, trainer, counselor and health care provider, it is my aim to serve and advocate my clients and help improve caregiving practices to make it more equitable and rewarding.
