My mom was a daycare provider for 23 of my 26 years of life. I grew up around children of all ages growing up. I worked at a children's shelter while in college. Upon graduating with my Bachelor's in Psychology, I worked at a daycare in the infant room for about six months. I have most recently worked for 3 years in child welfare as an adoption specialist, case manager and permanency manager.
