About Sydney

Hi, families! My name is Sydney - thank you for taking a glance at my profile! I am 30 years old, was once an English major in college, then Pre-Vet, before I finally realized that creating bonds with children and families was my absolute passion! I have worked with children since I was 19 years old and have grown & developed skills throughout multiple jobs in childcare centers/babysitting opportunities. I value connection and safe, pressure-free spaces where children can organically grow and express themselves. I work full time at the YMCA where I am a GSRP preschool teacher. I am familiar with different curriculums and teaching strategies. I am CPR and First Aid certified and get retested every two years. I also have my CDA teaching certificate and partake in multiple early childhood trainings every year. I am engaged and am getting married in October 2027! When I'm not wedding planning, I love following F1 racing, watching Star Wars, and playing with my two dogs, Nala and Zuko.
