About Sydney

Hello, I am Sydney, a 22-year-old passionate about working with children. I have an autistic toddler myself and began childcare nine years ago. I am particularly fond of working with toddlers and infants but am open to other age groups as well. I am seeking a part-time job with afternoon hours, as I currently work as a counselor from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. I prefer weekday shifts after that, but I am open to weekend hours and can start at any time. Overnight shifts are only available with advance notice. My rate is $25 per hour for one child, but I am flexible for families with financial difficulties. I am certified in CPR, AED, Crisis De-Escalation, ServSafe, and allergen training, which ensures food safety and allergen-friendly meals. With a car and courses in child development, as well as courses completed for Maryville's BA in Psychology, I foster open communication and support children's growth, regardless of their neurotypical or neurodivergent status.
