About Sydney

I love caring for and mentoring kids and teens. I 15+ years of childcare experience including 5 years of full time nannying (starting when 1/3 children was 3 mo.). I have my bachelors in Human Development and Family Studies from ASU and an English teaching credential from NU. I love tutoring students in reading and writing and organizational skills. I have 5 years of experience teaching high school English and suppourt classes (similar to AVID). I also taught kinder and have years of substituting experience through out K-12 classes including long term assignments. I am the Camp Director of Camp Winthers and am passionate about teaching kids to love the outdoors. I love cooking, spending time outdoors, creative outlets like painting and crafting and spending time with people. I am outgoing and friendly and would love yo help your family! My first aide and CPR cert are up to date. I would love to find some families that need tutoring but I am also open to babysitting. (Rates vary)
