About Sydney

Hi! I'm Sydney. I'm wrapping up my last quarter at Everett Community College and moving to Bellingham this fall to start my Elementary Education degree at Western Washington University. I've worked as a lead teacher for the past 2. 5 years, mostly with kids ages 1-5, and have experience with children from newborns to age 13. I'm STARS certified and trained in safe sleep, bloodborne pathogens, and more. I've taken courses in child development, nutrition, and nurturing relationships, and I'm currently studying curriculum development. I love creating fun, active, play-based experiences that support each child's development-not just screen time or worksheets. I'm looking for a part-time babysitting job while I continue school. I don't drive yet, but I'm confident using public transit and plan to start driving lessons soon. I know how important it is to find a sitter you can trust, and I always show up with kindness, responsibility, and a true passion for working with kids.
