About Sydney

Hi Parents! My name is Sydney, and I am a NYS certified teacher (Grades 1-6) with my Special Education certification (K-12) anticipated in December 2026. I currently work in an elementary school as a substitute teacher and have also worked as a TA in a preschool for children with special needs. I have extensive additional experience with children, including full-time nannying, babysitting, and three summers as a camp counselor. I've cared for children ages 8 months-13 years and am very comfortable supporting children with diverse needs. I am truly passionate about working with children and love helping them grow, learn, and feel confident. I'm creative, energetic, and enjoy keeping kids engaged through outdoor play, crafts, baking, and games. I work on a teacher's schedule and am available for part-time care after school or on weekends, and I'm also open to nannying positions for the summer.
