Hey there! My name is Sydney and I'm 28 years old, born and raised in Bozeman, MT and I have lived in Crested Butte for 5 years. I was a live-in nanny for one year, following with 6 years as a preschool teacher, and additional time spent as a part time and travel nanny for families, as well as babysitting for dozens of families. I am CPR and first aid certified, I am also certified as a primary preschool teacher. I love being active with kids and getting outside to do activities! I love skiing, gardening, hiking, and hockey. Not to say I don't love down days of movies and books! I quit working so much in the preschool setting as I've learned that I enjoy a closer relationship with kids and families. We hired Sydney to babysit our 5 year old when we were in town for a family wedding. Sydney was great - very responsive, punctual, and great with my daughter! Watching a child at a hotel is not always easy but Sydney entertained her and got her to sleep right on time (which is not always easy in a hotel room). I would highly recommend Sydney to anyone looking for child care.
