About Sydney

We feel incredibly lucky to have had Syd as part of our family over the past six months. She has been caring for our infant since he was 5 months old, and from day one, she has been an absolute lifesaver. Syd goes above and beyond in every way. Not only does she provide attentive, loving care, but she also prepares fresh, homemade baby food from scratch, which has given us so much peace of mind. She even cooks meals for our whole family and helps keep the house running smoothly by tidying up whenever the baby is asleep. One of the most special things about Syd is her incredibly calming presence. She gently sings to our infant to rock him to sleep for his naps, and it has become such a meaningful part of his routine. When she first started with us, our baby was sick, and she would sing “he is strong like a mountain” to comfort him. To this day, whenever he cries, as soon as we sing that to him, he instantly calms down. It’s something we will always carry with us. She is also amazing with our toddler—patient, engaging, and able to balance the needs of both kids so seamlessly, which is no small task. Syd is dependable, proactive, and truly cares about the families she works with. We are only parting ways because we are leaving Florida, and we are genuinely so sad to no longer have her in our daily lives. We cannot recommend Syd highly enough to any family looking for someone who will care for their children and home with as much love and dedication as she does.
