About Sydney

I just finished an eight-month regen agriculture internship in Hawai'i, and am back in the city looking to connect with a great family as a nanny. I have over 9 years of childcare experience (4 in nyc) across a wide range of roles, including full-time and live-in nannying, traveling with families to Africa and across Europe, camp counseling, and even as a horseback riding instructor. A lot of my work here has been with kids with special needs (autism, learning differences, and Down syndrome) and take pride in the strong, lasting relationships I build with kids and their families. I strive to create a fun, grounded environment where they always feel supported and safe to be themselves. I think kids are some of the most insightful, capable, and hilarious people I've ever met. I love cooking and baking with them, getting creative, playing games, and especially spending time outside! I'm happy to help with ANY daily needs and am an excellent cook. Whatever you need, I can provide!
