Hi! I'm Jay, a specialized caregiver based in Flower Mound. I've spent the past few years supporting autistic children, and I've been RBT-certified since 2022. My focus is providing reliable, neurodiversity-affirming care for children of all backgrounds. A little about me: My legal name is Sydney (but I go by Jay). I graduated from UT Austin in 2022. I'm now in grad school completing my Master's in Counseling. I offer specialized childcare for date nights, as-needed support, and weekly care. Current availability: Once the semester resumes (January 13th), my regular hours include: • Mondays: 6AM-9 a.m. • Tuesdays: 6AM-11 a.m. & 5PM-12 a.m. • Wednesdays: 6AM-2 p.m. • Thursdays & Fridays: fully available • Saturdays: 5PM-12 a.m. or later I bring 9 years of childcare experience and 4 years of experience supporting autistic kiddos, including nonspeaking children, AAC users, and children with higher support needs. Sydney has been wonderful for ongoing care for my toddler and daughter in elementary school with special needs. She has done a great job of participating and learning techniques during my daughter's therapies to help her gain skills. Super quick and helpful with last minute changes in schedule and needs. This job involves a lot of driving, and she has been a safe driver.
