About Sydney

Hi! I'm Sydney, a TU graduate and Special Education Assistant Teacher in New York City. I have experience working with elementary and middle school students in both educational and childcare settings and am passionate about helping children build confidence and succeed academically. I specialize in reading and writing, including reading comprehension, written expression, organization, and study skills. My background in special education has equipped me to support students with diverse learning styles and tailor lessons to each child's individual needs. Parents describe me as warm, patient, creative, and dependable. I strive to make learning engaging and supportive while helping students develop the skills and confidence they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom.
