About Sydney

I am a sophomore Nursing student at Saint Xavier University and a certified EMT working full time with Superior Ambulance Service. I also have three years of experience as a lead summer camp counselor. I am passionate about caring for individuals of all ages and strive to create a safe, supportive environment while encouraging independence and overall well-being. As a healthcare professional, I aim to be a reliable and trustworthy presence for families. I am friendly yet professional, detail-oriented, and highly motivated to make a positive impact. Clear communication is very important to me, and I provide regular updates using each family's preferred method. I have extensive experience with this through both my EMT work and camp counseling. I treat everyone with kindness and respect and prioritize health, safety, and comfort. I also have experience with memory care and individuals with special needs, and I am skilled in redirection, engagement, and de-escalation techniques.
