About Sydney

Hello! My name is Sydney, and I'm an experienced caregiver and educator with a deep passion for supporting families and children. I've worked in a variety of creative early childhood settings, including the Lawrence Arts Center Preschool, The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, and The Harwood Museum of Art, where I led art-based programs that encouraged curiosity, emotional expression, and play. I bring a calm, compassionate, and holistic approach to childcare, shaped by my work as a certified death doula supporting families through life's many transitions. I'm also a great cook, an attentive listener, and love helping households run smoothly through creative play, outdoor time, and thoughtful routines. I'm seeking a family who values kindness, communication, and a nurturing home environment where children can thrive and feel deeply cared for.
