Hello I am a nanny and a graduate of the University of Texas, Austin (Master's in Special Education). I have been working in Chicago for the last 3 years as a nanny, and have 14+ years of nanny and special needs caregiving experience in Texas and Maine. I enjoy integrating children's music and second language learning (French/Spanish/English) for young children, and I love to take the kids on outings! I began nannying in 2008 (experience with twins, full-time, part-time, housekeeping) and have great references. I have a very receptive, gentle nature and a lot of experience with infants and toddlers in home and daycare work. I do not mind pet care and light housekeeping. We had a wonderful experience with Sydney caring for our 8-month-old on a regular basis. She was always punctual, dependable, and brought a calm, caring presence into our home. She engaged our little one with age-appropriate play, spoke to her in various languages, sang and played her musical instruments as well as took her on outings. We felt confident and at ease knowing our baby was in good hands and would highly recommend her.
