My name is Syd, and I began in this field in 2019, nannying my brother who has ASD, and significant cognitive and speech delays. After he begun school, I worked as a special education paraprofessional for 3 years, then as a registered behavior technician for another 3 years. I have worked with children, teens, and adults, with a variety of different needs such as developmental disabilities, sensory differences (vision/hearing impaired), and physical disabilities. I also am CPR and First Aid trained, and I have experiences with food allergies/epipens, and seizure management. My strengths are planning and implementing creative and fun educational activities, teaching social skills, and behavioral support! I am an upbeat and silly individual with a lot of energy.
