I focus on deep understanding, problem-solving, and independent thinking. What makes my tutoring different? I don't believe in memorizing steps - I help students understand the *why* behind math. For online tutoring, I use an iPad and Apple Pencil to create an interactive, real-time learning experience where students can see every step of the problem-solving process. Homework is personalized to each student's needs. Instead of assigning large sets of random problems, I create targeted practice that focuses on the specific concepts, skills, and error patterns we identify during our sessions. After every session, I send parents a detailed summary covering what we learned, areas that need additional practice, and assigned homework.
