I've been that person who stops to pet every dog on the street my entire life. Dogs and cats have always been part of my world. Right now I share custody of my dog Max with my ex (which works out great for pet sitting availability!), and my cat Juniper keeps me on my toes at home. My mom's cockatoo Butters has taught me that pets come with all kinds of personalities. I don't have a problem with working with reactive and high-energy animals. They're often the most rewarding once you figure out what makes them tick. Some dogs need to burn off steam with a good run, others need quiet confidence. I pay attention to what each pet is telling me. Pet sitting lets me get my fix while helping other pet parents out. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pet with someone new. I will love your pet like they're my own, stick to their routine, and make sure they feel safe and happy while you're away.
