About Svetlana

My name is Svetlana, and I am originally from Russia. I am a devoted mother to two adult children, with a long career as a Russian elementary school teacher. My extensive experience with children enables me to promote their physical, psychological, emotional and intellectual growth, by utilizing development techniques that are tailored to the specific age(s) of the child(ren). I believe a daily schedule, hygiene, independent play and the ability to express emotions are just few of the areas that help create a strong foundation for that growth. But continuing education is important, and I am open to learning new techniques as I get to know your specific child(ren) and family. Although I speak limited English and cannot drive children, I will ensure the family's guidelines are followed, while surrounding the child(ren) with great love and care.
