About Suzi

As a retired social worker and former preschool teacher, I'm excited to share my knowledge and experience with your family. My own children are now adults. I have a graduate degree in social work and have taken coursework in early child development. I'm comfortable caring for up to four children at a time (although my hourly rate would be higher than usual). One of my favorite things to do is to encourage reading by reading to children. I have a collection of Dr. Seuss books that I bring. I also make homemade Play-Doh and bring tools such as a garlic press to make spaghetti or hair. I also have several sets of children's watercolor paints, and find that children really enjoy using those. I'm willing to help with cooking and meal preparation as well as swimming supervision. I love playing board games, puzzles, I'm looking forward to meeting you and your family!
