About Suzanne

While working in a school district as a Special Education Para educator for 2 years, I cared for regular education and special education preschool children. I assisted the teachers with preparing the classroom, supervising the children, carrying out lesson plans, and attending to the needs of the children. My experience working in the classroom with these children would benefit my success in caring for children in a home environment as well. I bring with me the skills, knowledge, and desire to create an excellent environment for providing teaching opportunities and encouraging creativity. As a Substitute Teacher for 4 years, I filled in for teachers pre K through 12 and attended to all the duties given to me by the classroom teacher. In addition, I would also like to note that I spent 1 year specifically working with children in the autism spectrum. And that I have 20 + years experience caring for infants and toddlers in the daycare environment and in raising my own 4 children.
