I will be ending my child care job at the end of August. I have taken care of this special needs baby for two years. She is now 3 years old. I am experienced with young children, with disabilities or not. I was a special education teacher for the NYC Department of Education for over 30 years. I am very energetic and would love to be given the opportunity to meet you and your children to see if I fit the position. As the mother of two daughters myself, I know first hand how important it is to have reliable and caring people to help with your children.

Susan has worked as our babysitter for our daughter with special needs for two years, and we have been extremely lucky to have her in our lives. She is incredibly warm, caring, and loving towards our daughter. She is more than capable of handling all of our daughter's special needs, including the fact that our daughter is wheelchair-bound, non-verbal and is g-tube fed. She has boundless energy and is always working with our daughter to keep her engaged and entertained. She is also extremely trustworthy and responsible, and makes sure to arrive not only on time, but early, to ensure that she is home when our daughter gets off of the school bus. We offer our highest recommendation to anyone seeking a caregiver for their child.
