About Susan

Caring for others is more than a job for me; it's a calling. For six years, I dedicated myself to supporting my mother through her dementia journey, both in a care facility and at home. That experience, along with my work with a hospice team providing end-of-life care, has equipped me with skills in dementia care, activity planning, and family support. My graduate degree and 38 years as an educator have honed my patience, compassion, and detail-oriented approach. I am experienced in de-escalating stressful situations and incorporating memory care activities. I offer light housekeeping and meal preparation and maintain open communication with families through daily reports and check-ins, always respecting their preferred method.
