I have years of experience taking care of people, with and without dementia, from 56-92 years old, and I also work as a dental hygienist one day a week. I'm a friendly, easy going person with a good sense of humor. I always enjoyed helping people, I feel this is so much more rewarding than hygiene.

From the first visit Susan brought a smile and sense of companionship to my father. He always looked forward to Susan coming to help for she brought true caring and friendship while taking him to his PT, cooking for him, walking him outside for exercise, getting his mail, he always felt he could ask and Susan would help with a smile o tenderness. My father and Susan became friends quickly as she did with our whole family. We all trusted Susan to be with him, take great care of him and genuine care for him as a person. Susan would often go to the grocery store when he napped to create a delicious dinner for him, always delicious Italian specials that he very much enjoyed. Susan worked hard to make sure he had all the medicine and handicap equipment for him ordered from the VA. If he requested something, Susan was determined to deliver, even if she sat on phone hold for an hour to get a password he forgot or teach him how to use his new iPhone. Susan kept dedicated to the end.
