About Susan

I am a newly retired elementary school principal/teacher after 28 years of working with and caring for children. It was an extremely rewarding and fulfilling time in my life, and I am eager to continue to offer support and assistance to children and parents as a Nanny, House Manager, or Senior Caregiver for extended family members. I have had interaction with children as a classroom teacher and as a school administrator, so my experiences and knowledge vary greatly, and enable me to respond to diverse needs and care levels. 500 children attended my school(s) during any given year, ranging in age from three to 13 years old. Our school provided Developmental Preschool, Full Day Preschool, Full Day Kindergarten, Lifeskills, and general instruction for students in first through sixth grade. I am the mother of two daughters, ages 21 and 18, the step-mother of an older son and daughter, and the step-grandmother of five children ranging in age from three to 14 years old.
