About Susanna

Rooted Childcare Hello! My name is Susanna and I am offering a small, home-based childcare service for little ones ages 0-4 that honors the beauty of early childhood and the importance of a slower, more connected beginning. My philosophy is rooted in the belief that young children thrive when they have plenty of time to move, explore, play, connect, and simply be children. Our days will be centered around outdoor time, imaginative and open-ended play, nourishing foods, natural rhythms, books, music, hands-on experiences, and meaningful connection with myself and my two girls (ages 3 & 1). I aim to embrace a gentle rhythm that allows children to follow their curiosity and develop at their own pace. There will be opportunities to get messy, play outside, help with simple tasks, explore nature, and build confidence through everyday experiences. This model of childcare creates an environment that allows congruency between care at home and away from home. Message me for more details!
