About Susannah

While working as an ABA therapist for young children with autism, I found my passion in life. There is nothing in this world that is as rewarding and motivating for me as watching a child become independent- whether that means learning how to communicate their needs or meet those needs themselves, participating in activities with peers, or just coping with big feelings. Ultimately, as much as I adored the kids I taught, I often wished to be able to have more say in my work-life balance, and to be able to focus my efforts on just one family at a time. Lately, I've been really into hand-sewing with felt. I'm getting better, but it's going to take a lot more practice! One thing you should know about me is that I can be a little timid when first meeting people, but it doesn't take long for me to come out of my shell. You may be surprised by my pretend play skills! My car can get ME to and from places, but needs work before I'll feel comfortable transporting children.
