I am a dedicated and loyal nanny with 27 years experience in child care. I have enjoyed caring for children of all ages, from infants to teenagers, and I now specialize in infant care. With the children I watch, I love reading to them, and introducing them to the cadence of language. Music and time outdoors are also activities I include in our daily routine. I have experience in all aspects of infant care, including establishing good feeding and sleep routines. I am pediatric CPR and first aid certified, as well as having Newborn Care Specialist training. I am a Christian, and I love working for Christian families when I can. I am reliable, responsible, and patient, and I love watching children learn and grow! I have spent most of my career in Chicago, and moved to Knoxville 3 years ago. Susan was our first nanny ever and needless to say, we were super nervous about letting someone else be in our home with our then 10-month old son, but Susan immediately alleviated all of our fears! Thanks to Susan's detailed and attentive care, the transition was completely tear-free and we could leave the house each morning with total peace of mind. Susan was very observant and learned quickly what kinds of things would help calm our son down and what kinds of things would overwhelm him. This combined with her creativity in coming up with fun activities for him meant that our son very quickly began looking forward to Susan coming each morning. Susan also helped us through some difficult nap transitions and was eventually our son's person of choice to put him down for his naps! Anyone would be VERY blessed to have Susan in their home.
