About Susan

I graduated from the University of Texas with honors in 2013, with a degree in Early Childhood Education/Special Education. I'm a certified Special Ed/General Ed teacher, and I've taught professionally in a variety of classrooms (aged infant to young adult) over the last 15 years. I've worked in multiple day cares, I've been babysitting since the seventh grade, and I operated my own successful pet/house-sitting business throughout high school. I am currently searching for a part-time or full-time position as a nanny, tutor, or pet/house-sitter in the Austin area. I am available ASAP, I can work M-F, as well as some evenings and weekends if needed. I have a reliable SUV and a clean record, and I am comfortable transporting kids and running errands. I can clean house and cook, and I am trained in CPR and First-Aid. I not only love to watch/play with kids, I also love to help them develop social/academic skills through instruction and structured learning opportunities.
