About Susan

I have raised six children of my own, all of whom I homeschooled, with decades of experience nurturing, educating, and mentoring children. My background includes caring for children from challenging home environments, supporting girls from Africa, serving as a children's advocate with nonprofit organizations, I also lead a Junior Lifeguard program serving 600 children each summer. I bring maturity and discretion. I'd describe my personality as warm, happy and grounded. I love helping kids feel safe and confident while giving them opportunities to explore, learn and laugh. I bring stability, fun, adventure, and genuine care into the children's lives. I love the beach and try to get in the water every day. I am spiritual in nature and love learning. I mentor people to become their best and highest self. I'm dependable, calm under pressure, and I value open communication, mutual respect, and becoming someone a family can truly trust.
