About Susan

I have been a caregiver since my teenage years, including: babysitter, foster parent, Sunday School teacher and director, preschool teacher (nursery and 1-year-old class) and orphanage work. My husband and I founded and are still currently the executive directors of Rainbow Village Ministries, an orphanage in the Philippines that we started in 1990. Caring for children, especially babies, has been my lifelong work, and I love working with babies and children of all ages. I am a wife of 39 years, a mother of four grown children, and grandmother of two beautiful grandkids. I can care for any age child, cook and clean, drive as needed. I am very active, and love to interact with kids/babies. I am knowledgeable in child development, and know CPR and first aid. I have worked in the home environment as well as schools, churches, and orphanage.
