About Susan

I am a registered nurse, went to law school as a second career. I have been a foster parent for 11 children, providing a warm, stable, loving environment while working full time. I have two sons, both adults now. I provided nanny care for a 3-month-old in 2017, through Care. com until baby went to day care. I returned to work full time and after a year I decided to leave the rat race and do what I love- care for children. I was a nanny to a set of twins for 18 months, from when they were 3 months old to 21 months. I left because I relocated to Hampton VA in May 2020. I have my own vehicle, own three dogs and care for a feral cat by feeding her daily. I love children and am seeking work, prefer part time or intermittent but will certainly consider all opportunities. I love reading, singing, playing, outdoor activities. I am stable and reliable.
