Hi my name is Susan, I am a recently retired school teacher from Stafford County with 30+ years of experience. I taught grades 1st-4th as well as special education. I grew up around my mother who is a hospice nurse and has been a director in an assisted living facility where I was able to help and learn from her occasionally. I am caring, hard working, and love to help others. I am looking for families who need extra support at home and to provide company to their loved ones. I worked for the Home Instead company for 4 months and they trained me on bathing, transfers and medical needs of the individual. I recently assisted a family with a loved one on hospice. I can work weekends but like to alternate.
