About Susan

I understand firsthand how important it is to know that an aging loved one is receiving thoughtful, dependable, & compassionate care. For the last 3 years of my dad's life, I helped care for & support him as he experienced progressive memory loss, increasing daily care needs, & ultimately leukemia. I also provided care & companionship for my stepmom as she underwent 2 heart surgeries. Following my dad's passing, I continued giving my stepmom companionship & assistance until her passing. These experiences gave me a deep appreciation for the patience, understanding, dignity, & personal attention that seniors deserve. Professionally, I have a 4-year college degree & have worked for 25+ years in leadership roles, including with a nonprofit organization serving older adults. I'm now ready to give back to people of my community in a new chapter. As a result of my experience, I bring maturity, sound judgment, strong communication skills, & a caring, dependable approach to helping others.
