I've been a placement counselor several times in the business world & healthcare. I understand the need for the right fit! Certified in an Alzheimer's course called The Gems gives me an advantage. I like caring for seniors because life is a cycle. It's important for me to do work that brings honor to others somehow overall. I started caring for seniors when my mom was diagnosed with MS, more so when my brother-in-law came to live with us for nearly 3 decades. Have done healthcare here in NC, in HR placing caregivers and working with clients directly. In my spare time, I like to make art - particularly for children's rooms, music when I can & enjoy family time. One thing you should know about me is I can go the extra mile, but know better than to bite off more than I can chew. Your family member deserves the best care they can have. My skills include talking in a calm responsive manner, de-escalation, Cooking, encouraging healthy food & habits is what I enjoy.
