About Susan

I love animals! God put us here to take care of them, after all. I grew up on a dairy farm and helped my parents bottle feed calves, I also hand reared the neighbour's orphaned lambs. With the cows I also helped to milk them and hose off the cow yard afterwards (it's a commercial sized farm). I have kept horses, many cats, dogs, even pet rats. I worked at a dog kennel and groomer for a short period of time and learned a bit from them but it wasn't really anything I didn't already know from personal experience. I myself have three cats who get along well with one another and I change their litter frequently. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty and I enjoy giving animals the love and attention and patience they need to love life. Where possible, I'd like to bring my son (four years of age) and teach him too.
