About Susan

Educated, responsible, nurturing, creative and fun, mature professional with a high energy level and great rapport with children, teens, young adults and seniors. Most recently I provided after school care for a terrific 12-year-old in the city. I've since relocated to Mundelein and looking for work to supplement my dual career as a Manager for a women's apparel boutique, and Professional Organizer & Home Stager. Previously for 25 years, I was a successful Marketing & Public Relations Consultant. In addition to caring for my nephews (now grown), I have significant caregiver experience as the only in-town adult sibling overseeing the care of my elderly parents for over a decade, including as my Mother's 24/7 caregiver when she lived with me for 3 years. I've found that caring for seniors (especially those with Dementia like both of my Parents) requires the same level of love, patience, planning, creativity and flexibility as caring for children and teens.
