About Susan

I have raised my 4 children into adulthood & have helped with newborn care for my first 3 grandchildren. I am looking to work with mother's who are in their postpartum period & wanting a little help. Whether this is your first child or your 5th child, mom always deserves a little help settling in & making sure she is taken care of. I have taken classes in postpartum doula care as well as becoming a certied breastfeeding specialist. I focus my attention on Mom's recovery & newborn care, but am able to do other things as well. See services offered. Remembering my own postpartum journey of exhaustion, loneliness, & overwhelm, I long to help mothers not to feel this way. The postpartum period should be one of joy, bonding, rest & peace. I am also interested in caring for babies beyond these first 12 weeks and would love to nanny through the first year of life. My care would be child focused with lots of love, hands on activities such as reading, walks in nature, & age appropriate learning.
