About Susan

I'd describe my personality as dedicated caring and energetic I like working with kids because kids seem to relate easily to me and I enjoy the challenge and satisfaction it can bring. I'm looking for a part-time job that allows me to make a positive difference in a busy family's daily life while at the same time enriching my own. I started working with kids when I was a young teenager juggling babysitting for 3 families. I taught swimming lessons at age 17 through college. My next experience was raising my own two children. Currently on a short term basis, I am caring for my 6 mo. old grandson 1 day a week. In my spare time, I'm making and sharing memories with my own children and grandchildren. I enjoy gardening, hiking, and gym classes. One thing you should know about me is that I'm a recently retired registered dental hygienist. My skills include working 20 years as a dental hygienist and prior to that in a law office as a legal secretary.
