I have worked as a nanny for many different families for over 17 years now. I find working with children very rewarding. I am very nurturing as my own two boys are grown now. I love to read to children which I think is a very important part for there growing process. I love going to the park, and doing crafts, going to museum's, nature parks. I take my nanny job very seriously. It is important that parents/nanny are all on the same page about my role as a nanny and what they expect from me as I help their child/children in there developmental stages. My time is the best and most important attribute that I can give to a family. Of course, love follows. When children have time and love in their lives, they can grow confidently in a world that can be busy, rushed and hectic. Susan worked for us for over four years, beginning with one two year old and ending with a 6 year old and 3 year old. She is fantastic with newborns, babies, toddlers and preschool age children, which can be hard to find! She was never late, and always very helpful - house was always very clean when we got home and she helped around the house with laundry, dishes, and errands like grocery shopping or meal prep. Susan is also great to work with - she's funny, positive, upbeat - I now realize she was taking care of me too as I struggled to get used to two children, one of which had colic and was a very fussy baby. We still miss her and she'll always be a great part of our lives. Both of my boys (age 8 and 6 now) still consider her their favorite nanny/sitter. She is a gem and you will be very lucky to hire her!
