About Susan

I've always had a natural connection with children, and some of my most meaningful life experiences have come from caring for them. My first childcare was with two energetic boys, ages 7 and 9, and their two big dogs. Every afternoon was an adventure biking, basketball, exploring the woods, and even spending a full day laughing and playing. Those memories stayed with me for years, and I later learned they stayed with the boys too. Later, I joined Big Brothers Big Sisters and was matched with a 7-year-old girl who loved the outdoors as much as I did. Together we visited farms, took photos in parks, learned to paint on rainy days. Recently, my boss brought his 4-year-old son to work, and we instantly clicked. We spent time pretending to make phone calls and unlocking doors with a business card. That experience reminded me how much I truly miss caring for children. Which is why I'm returning to Care.
