About Susan

I am a calm, caring, and reliable nanny with several years of experience caring for newborns, toddlers, and school age kids. In my most recent role I was a full time nanny for two wonderful children, supporting daily routines, school pickups, meals, and lots of play and learning. I worked closely with the parents as a true team and stayed flexible as schedules and needs changed, always helping the household run smoothly. I love reading, crafts, and outdoor time, and I focus on creating a safe, structured, and loving environment where children feel seen and supported. I am patient, organized, and very comfortable with pets. I value open communication and believe the best care happens when the nanny and family work together. I am bilingual in English and Portuguese and I am currently learning Spanish. I am excited to support a Chicago family and bring kindness, stability, and flexibility to your home.
