About Susan

Empowering elementary students to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. I believe every child possesses unique strengths, and I focus on building their confidence while fostering a genuine love for learning. By actively listening and observing how a student interacts with new material, I tailor my approach using visual aids, hands-on activities, and collaborative discussions. When concepts become challenging, I break them into manageable steps and connect the material to real-world interests to keep momentum high. I prioritize clear, consistent communication with both students and parents to ensure we are working as a cohesive team. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a student masters a new skill. I will agree to getting CPR training and First Aid certifications. I am truly passionate about helping your child grow, and I look forward to supporting their academic journey.
