About Susan

I'm a former teacher (middle/high school English+ a year in 2nd grade), I was an asst director for a tutoring center for years, as well as stay at home/homeschooling mom to my son, now 17. I'm happily married, 47 yrs old, with a degree, and I volunteer in democratic politics. I worked as a nanny and in a daycare in college (back in the 1990s) and took care of my nieces (now 14 and 16) when they were tiny- I love babies. More recently, I've worked for 2 families with infants (+ a 3yr old). I love dogs, reading, coffee, and music. I am immunocompromised, on medication for arthritis (I'm in remission), that makes me pretty susceptible to germs, so am not able to care for kids who are contagious, but otherwise am extremely flexible for families who need a sitter. I live in Chesterfield with my husband, son, and 2 dogs. Rates and schedules are very negotiable for the right fit!
