Hi, I'm Susan! I have lots of experience providing respite care for individuals ages 5+ , supporting people with a wide range of physical, developmental, and mental care needs. My experience includes working with individuals with mild learning disabilities, to those requiring full-time, complex care. I also have 3 years of experience as a licensed mental health counselor in Maryland, giving me a strong understanding of emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. I have personal experience supporting loved ones with various mental health conditions, as well as experience working with individuals on the spectrum and assisting students with dyslexia build literacy skills. Caring for and supporting individuals with disabilities comes naturally to me. I bring patience, compassion, understanding, and a positive attitude to every situation. I truly enjoy helping others navigate their daily lives, creating moments of laughter, encouragement, and connection along the way.
