Hi! I was a professor at the Art Institute of Chicago while my kids were growing up. They are all now grown and on their own. It's amazing how much you miss being around little ones. I've been both a part-time and full time nanny for several amazing families for over 10 years with ages ranging from newborn to high school. I meet kids where they are and make sure they are engaged and having fun. I worked at Easterseals for four years and understand neurodivergent backgrounds. We have a lot of fun well also applying play-based learning concepts. Additionally, I have been a house manager for several families. I can manage scheduling of home services, help with meal prep, light housekeeping and errands (including all of those Amazon returns). I am happy to drive kids to after school activities or weekend sports/ classes. I bring a calm and positive energy to your home. Susan is the best! My kids look forward to her coming over - they do crafts, games, dance parties.... She's always on time, very communicative and very responsible. When we unexpectedly lost our nanny she jumped in and didn't miss a beat. We wished she could have been our been our new nanny, but was offered a corporate position we couldn't complete with. We still use her anytime we need a sitter - we'll take her whenever we can ;)
