Hello, 

I am a non-smoking, reliable, patient, and caring person who has 9 years of experience caring for the elderly. I love animals (I have 3 dogs) cooking healthy meals, reading, & exercising. Experience using a Hoyer Lift, blood pressure & glucose monitoring, light housekeeping, meal prep, bathing/dressing, transportation to/from doctor appointments, medication prompting, medication management, wound care and running errands. I prefer to work in a non-smoking environment. 

My clients have ranged in age from 46 to 96 years of age with various medical conditions: COPD, various forms of Alzhimers/Dementia, MS (Secondary Progressive).

I provide companionship, memory exercises, strength training, walking for mobility/balance, light weight medicine ball (2lbs - 5lbs), Chair Exercises & use of Resistance Exercise Bands.

Susan has been helping my mom for several months now and she is excellent. My mom is very happy we found her. We highly recommend her.

Susan is an incredible caring caregiver. She not only cares deeply but treats your loved ones as if they were her own family. She is always on time, goes above and beyond. Susan will help in anyway she can. I am so lucky to have her caring for my parents. 

Susan has been looking after my parents part time for the last several months.  92 year old father and 81 year old mother with cancer.  She has been phenomenal.  Not only is she an experienced care giver who knows how to handle all my parents' needs, but she is also a breath of fresh air.  She is even able to get my quite introverted dad to engage in conversation and laugh.  She also goes above and beyond - thinking of what my parents may need even when she is not with them.  For example she often brings them food, shopping, and other things to make their lives a little easier.  Finally, there hasn't been a single time she has been anything other than 100% reliable.  In fact whenever we have needed more hours she has always been willing to oblige.  Highly recommend Susan in every way.

Susan works with my chair bound 92 year old father 5 days a week, giving him light exercises and encouragement to walk around a little. She has a wonderful, engaging personality and my father really enjoys her company. If he doesn't feel up to working out, she will chat with him for a while, providing companionship. Our family really appreciates Susan. I highly recommend Susan.

Susan A. is amazing! I sat at a table 2 years ago with my family interviewing her. I thought to myself I don't need her. I have been dealing with multiple sclerosis for over 30 years on my own. I know I'm wheelchair-bound but I can still do the things that I need to do. But boy was I wrong. Susan entered into my life and has made such a dramatic difference in the quality of my life. She is caring, compassionate, punctual, flexible, energetic, and just an overall go-getter. She has assisted with all my work by recording documents. She has assisted me when I needed to travel by packing my suitcase and shopping for my wardrobe. She daily prepares meals and cooks for me she is Italian, so there's no wonder that she makes the most amazing lasagna that my entire family truly enjoys. I can honestly say that I love this woman for being so good to me. I am truly blessed to have her as not only a caregiver but a friend. Anyone would be lucky to have her.

Susan has been an absolute joy to work with. She has taken great care of my disabled mother for the past 2 years. She has demonstrated flexibility, patience, respect, and compassion. She goes above and beyond what her "typical" duties would be. Susan is punctual, reliable and a great communicator. We don't consider Susan a caregiver anymore but rather part of the family. She's her words (when Moms are jumbled), her exercise partner, when Mom wants to take a short walk, her grocer, her errand runner, and most importantly, a friend to her when she's lonely.  This is all on top of the "normal" standard care duties!  

My point,  she's invested in my Mom and treats her with the kindness and patience she needs.  She is also great at communicating any changes she notices to me.  Susan has, without a doubt, improved my Moms quality of life.  I will forever be grateful to her!

I hired Susan this past January after my 95 yo Dad was released from the hospital and was in pretty rough shape. In a short period of time Susan got Dad back up and using his walker, helped him with all the meds, brought groceries and fixed his lunch and dinner (for Dad's gal too) and did a lot more around the house. Dad improved rapidly over the next 2 months and Susan helped him get off and reduce some of the meds. He is now fully recovered and we said goodbye to Susan as Dad no longer needed the help. I am very very grateful to have found and hired Susan.
