About Susan

Hello, I am a non-smoking, reliable, patient, and caring person who has 8 years of experience caring for the elderly. I love animals (I have 3 dogs) cooking healthy meals, reading, & knitting. I also provide light housekeeping, meal prep, bathing/dressing, transportation to/ from doctor appointments, medication prompting, wound care and running errands. I prefer to work in a non-smoking environment. My clients have ranged in age from 46 to 96 years of age with various medical conditions including End-Stage COPD, Alzhimers/Dementia with Mild to Moderate Cognitive Impairment (MCI), Multiple Sclerosis (Secondary Progressive), and Lewy Bodies Dementia. I provide companionship, memory exercises, strength training, walking for mobility/balance and fall prevention. Using a light weight medicine ball (2lbs - 5lbs), Chair Exercises and Resistance Exercise Bands. I have experience using a Hoyer Lift.
