About Sunny

Experienced nanny and teacher with a background in teaching science, music, and art for Pre-K -12th. I have a BS in Organismal Biology and have enjoyed working at the Francis Parker School after-care program for K-1st grades. As a Naturalist for the Irvine Nature Center where I lead wild animal encounter programs at schools, camps, and even homes for birthday parties. I have taught urban farming to children in grades 3-12th for the Parks and People Foundation. And, I have worked for the San Diego Public Library where I lead both infant and toddler story times, which were two separate 60 minute programs, each with about 15-20 children in attendance. I would sing+play guitar children's songs while teaching ASL for the children to learn and sign the lyrics to "Itsy, Bitsy Spider", Old McDonald", etc. My experience as a nanny is with children ages 11months-3 yrs old. Most recently my last two positions held both included caring for a toddler+infant simultaneously.
