Hello! I am a 40-year-old graduate from UCSB with a BA in Psychology. During my studies I concentrated on child development and counseling psychology. I have 18 years of experience working with many different families with multiple children and wide age range from toddlers-to-teens. I also have a 4 years experience with babies 6mo+. I love to cook and have a pastry and cuisine certification from le cordon bleu and want to find a family to be a chef and nanny. I love to involve children with age appropriate reading, arts and crafts, and activities that will help them learn new skills, as well as daily life lessons using communication. I believe that having fun with kids is as important as discipline. Helping them explore their personalities and interests are important to their growth and experiences as well as connecting to their sense of humor and individuality. I feel I am good at recognizing strengths and weaknesses that can encourage growth in a positive way.
